here is the link i hope this works, i was surfing the web and came across it, is this a guarantee that maybe the first firmware update will have the virtual keyboard?

Im not sure if this is real but I know that someone will make it soon. I think it'll be handy for times you want to enter short texts

that virtual keyboard looks really nice and very oem....if only the accelerometer were in play and flipped to landscape mode i would be in a state of xtacy! haha

Any virtual keyboard app would OBVIOUSLY need accelo support to go to landscape mode- hopefully the devs will realize that

Ok, if you want it in landscape mode, just slide the keyboard out. It's not that hard to do.

Like I said in a previous post. I have already written a piece of software that flips from landscape to portrait as the phone is turned sideways. Its really not that complex.

Of course - just as soon as I get the phone. Which of course would happen sooner if I could get a darn tracking #.

The first gen iphone didn't do this when texting, which was really annoying because they did it when in safari.

I know that sliding the keyboard out will give me landscape but I would want the virtual keyboard to be available in landscape also, there are instance where I wouldn't want to use a keyboard and I'd prefer to use the screen

I just read your post....CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE THIS MAN HIS G1 ALREADY this app would be killer! It will do it when surfing web too right?
