Cupcake users: Any of you experiencing a lot of restarts?

I am going to say this has been a cupcake thing for me...starting a while back with the Haykuro builds, but WAY more frequently with the current JF build, my phone has been restarting itself like crazy. I have had to pull the battery 5 TIMES today alone. Now, that's the worst it's been, but before this week, I've had to pull the battery 0 times. ZERO. The last time I SAW my battery was the day I put it in last October.

So, clearly this isn't right. I haven't done anything different with my phone, but sometimes I'll reach in my pocket and find my phone very hot, and pull it out, and it's off, not responding to any button presses. Sometimes it will just blink out in the middle of something, like an email notification will only play half the file before I feel it buzz me at the G1 screen. Sometimes it's when I am switching apps or touch the screen. This morning, I took my phone off the charger and the screen was ON, but black, and the phone wouldn't respond. It's pretty much getting to be unacceptable. Just wondering if anyone else is having similar problems?

oh danm sounds like a nightmare

maybe apps to sd? a certain app? did u drop it?

uve never had a problem before right? u wiped before applying the rom?

No restarts unless I issued the command at the terminal or pulled the battery.

Funny thing...

Before the update my phone use to restart on it's own, it's stopped since the update.

But now I'm having issues with certain pop up saying "SORRY" This app bleh bleh

So I was wondering if it was the 1.5 build or the app itself

I just returned my phone for this. TMo called it "software corruption"

Obviously I didn't tell them I had rooted.

But yes. When I would close my keyboard sometimes it would just go off.

When I would make a call sometimes it would look like it was making a call but never go through and I was unable to end call either, so I would have t take out the battery for that.

Sometimes it would go to sleep and when I hit menu nothing would happen. Could not turn off (or on) with the power button. Had to pull the battery to restart.

I found sometimes when it went black like that even though I couldn't use menu, I would hit the back key and it would come back on for some reason.

Some here at AC suggested I had bad memory to begin with and flashing it caused the problems.

I also had my reception drop to about half of normal everywhere. Even when I flashed back to stock RC33 that did not go away.

I went from JF 1.42 to H's build to JF 1.5 and the problems just seemed to get worse after H and then unbearable at 1.5

Maybe your battery is taking a dive? Did you update the new radio when you went to the new JF 1.5 version? Have you checked your battery info in the settings to see if it gives you a clue to what condition your battery is in? Just afew ideas hoep everything works out bud.

not a single problem for me ..... last time i rebooted my phone was 3 days ago . im on jf1.5

sounds like some people are getting a few defected phones, ive had mine since nov, and rooted flashed a bunch of times, and its good, i have seen a few force closes and the call screen not poppin up when a call comes in, but it really has never been a big deal, i can call back, and i can hit forcecloes not too much of a bad thing considering the pros. that sucks tho
lately more and more people have theyr phone acting up, hope i dont run into this
