    Default Did they say dual band UMTS?


    I was all excited seeing the quad-band listing for the G1, but I think I heard them say that the UMTS support is only dual-band. Given that T-Mobile uses 1700/2100 I guess that leaves those of use hoping to unlock and use the G1 on AT&T's network (850/1900 I think..) would be sol for 3G support eh?

    Guess I have to wait for another android phone...

    Yup, dual band umts according to the specs up on htc.com:

    No AT&T network 3G love for this phone. Bummer.
