I've found the easiest way is to go into gmail and go to your contacts list and edit there. You'll have a much easier (and quicker) time getting rid of your multiples.
Edit: Gmail on your computer....
I've migrated away from my Nextel Blackberry and converted over the the Sprint HTC Hero. After Sprint converted my data, I have many duplicate contacts for the same person showing up in my address book. Can I edit these contacts & my address book outside of my phone? I'd only like to see my past phone phone contacts in my address book, not email addresses from gmail too. Thanks in advance for your help.
In other words, can I do a mass edit on my phone book, and pick all the duplicates to be deleted?
