    Default Future Android/Htc phones

Excuse me if I get it wrong but I'm trying for the first time to make a poll. Ok well I can't manage to figure it out right now.

But I was wondering how everyone felt about all these all touch screen phones coming out for Android, I know the big foot or whatever might have a QWERY keyboard. But how do you feel about it all?

Do you prefer a keyboard or an all touch phone?

i think it depends more on a phone by phone basis, i mean look at the hero, not that many people wanted it until they say the software on it

Well look at the Iphone [specifically I don't know much about the software] I'm pretty sure I can say it beats the hero. I like the Hero but I think I'd be up for buying it if it had a keyboard.

looks like we gotta wait for more announcements or leaks for future android phones

only now we can speculate :P which is always fun.

but i find that phones with keyboards just make the phone more bulky and uses more "battery" so therefore youll suffer more battery usage than a phone that doesn't have a physical keyboard

    just my 2 cent.

can't wait to get my Hero cause i love the HTC virtual keyboard.

Virtual keyboard or touch screen keyboard Johnny? And I emailed HTC discussing this topic. I just got a little short reply saying they'll take it up further.

"I appreciate your interest in HTC devices with the Android operating system. I realize you have concerns with the touch screen for this type of device. I will forward your request to the next level for further review. Unfortunately, I cannot promise any further response to your request but I hope you continue to enjoy your T-Mobile G1 device."

I really dont mind having an actual keyboard on the device cause I sometimes get too lazy to open the screen. I mostly open use the onboard keyboard if I have to type like...words that dont really make sense? Or acronyms? Its like easier to use to type words such as @.....and numbers too , very useful if its a 5 row key board.

Other than that, I hope the future of android phones will get even better. Even though I am getting the hero, I will be envious when new android phones come out which are even better.

I actually would want an android phone to look like this:

Extremely sexy LG Chocolate Legend Generation:

The way I see it, this may be the year that android starts to trickle out into the wild, but I think that next year we will see much cooler stuff. I'm going to be picking up the myTouch. I think next year, well will see more companies do cool stuff like sense ui, and htc will of course come out with better phones. I would get the hero, but to import it its like $600, and you don't have 3G. I don't think its worth it.

Agreed, and I don't like the mytouch, but I'm considering getting it cause I'm interested with the overall devolopement with roms and rooting, but I've herd that its unrootable?
