G2 Rumors already from Phonedog.com

Check out this rumor. Can I maybe get the G1 first before the next one comes out. Talk about depreciation value, MAN!!!!!!!

I'm publishing this one as much because I want it to happen as anything else. I got it from two unrelated sources late last week that T-Mobile is prepping a version of HTC's Touch HD as their next Android phone. One of the sources was the ever talkative Anonymous Tipster.....

Sounds like a pipe-dream, but that would be interesting if it happened. I don't see them releasing another Android phone with a similar form-factor until late next year. The HTC Touch HD is really nice, but I have to believe that by time T-Mobile is ready to release the G2, there will be much nicer phones.

I hope so. It would be nice if its at least a year. Give the phone a good breaking in period to find out the faults and shortcommings, then the G2 will be even better.

I am in agreement.

My Wing is a great piece of hardware! But I'm very frustrated at how bad Windows Mobile performs - Slow, non-responsive most of the time and extremely hard to 'drive'.

I'm looking forward to putting down WM for good and going Android all the way. Now I can rest assured that from now on, my mobile communication aspect of life will only get better and better.

The Touch HD is not coming to North America in any fashion:

Until after we have all paid for a G1 (or march 09) then bam...G2 which just happens to be the "G2 formerly known as the touch HD pro". See no touch HD for the USA, only the G2, clever wording. I see what they did there...

The "Touch HD Pro"... didnt know that phone existed. Is it a cross between the Touch HD, and the Touch Pro? Lol, Im just messing with ya! It's wishful thinking, and no one wants it more then me. However HTC has come out and said they wont have two different OS on the same device, and the Touch HD will not be coming to the USA.

I don't think the G2 will take the form of the HTC Touch HD. HTC has made it VERY clear that they WILL NOT use a device running WM and port over to Android. Consider this rumor debunked!

Ironically enough, when I couldn't pre-order online initially on 9/23 I walked down the street to the T-mobile store on 46th and 6th and asked a rep, can I upgrade my phone here to the G1...he said 'not until after 5pm, and we are actually getting 2 phones." and im like whoa...so anyways, I go "its the G1 and??" and he goes, hold on I'll show u...whips out a monstrous blackberry, and shows me an image....OF THE HTC TOUCH HD. and he goes 'here, its called the android.' and im looking at him like "you ****ing idiot"

I know!!! We haven't even gotten our hands on g1 and there's already a new one coming supposedly? Let me enjoy the G1 first and show it off pleaseeeeee!
