Gmail Calendar date format

Hi,
I'm starting to use the gmail calendar more now i have a G1 - on the web my calendar is setup in UK date format (dd/mm/yyyy) but on my G1 it's showing in US format (mm/dd/yyyy).

Is there a way to change the settings for the G1?

Settings
Date & Time
Select date format

Sorry, doesn't work.

My calendar items are still showing in mm/dd/yyyy format, not dd/mm/yyyy format as in my settings.

Yes, it's a bug in the OS. All apps that use the date setting display the US dateformat no matter what your setting is. Asked it on a lot of fora but never got an answer or a workaround.

Yep - I noticed this too. Despite me having set the date format to dd/mm/yy, if I go to the Agenda view in the Calendar all the dates are in mm/dd/yy.
