So, I'm using Google's Calendar Sync (version 0.9.3.5) to sync my Outlook calendar to Google Calendar. That alone is half-assed (changes to my Outlook calendar take days to change in Google, if at all). However, I was wondering if anybody is having the same problem I've had with notifications for successful entries. For example, I have an entry on Google Calendar for a 10:00 meeting this morning. My G1 informed me of said meeting at...10:57. Not exactly advance notice. I followed the notification to Google Calendar, and it informed me that it was indeed at 10:00 and was supposed to give me a 15 minute reminder. Anyone?

No problems with any notifications here. Its dead nutz on time. Why don't you just export your calendar from Outlook and import it to Google Calendar??
I suppose I could do that, except that it changes on an hourly basis (this is my work calendar). It could be done, but would be a pain in the toucas.
I did just find one issue. When I went to Google Calendar online and clicked on settings, the General tab showed my time zone to be correct. However, when I went to Google Accounts and looked at my profile, it showed my time zone to be Eastern. I wonder if that had anything to do with it.
By the way, this behavior is not consistent. I just had one go off for a meeting in 15 minutes, also pulled in via Google Calendar Sync. So, I'm at a loss to this behavior. I'm hoping that by changing my profile, I've fixed the problem.

I had a bunch of similar problems with the calender. I resolved them by making sure that all three ( Phone, Google calender, Office PC ) are in same time zone and with same daylight saving time setting.. i suggest you to check that once in all three places
interesting. i have the same issues and found my google acount and calendar both had me set for london time. hope this fixes it.
i had this problem as well. i had a doctors appointment at 4 PM. It notified me at 4:45. Ill check the settings.
for me it was a time zone issue as well
well i just checked and my time zones for the calendar in gmail and the calendar in the phone are the same time zone...
I would double check the outlook timezone settings as well...
