Google Calendar Sync not working!

I'm almost ready for the arrival of my G1:

-8 GB Class 6 microSD card in hand - Check!
-2800+ Contacts transferred from Palm to Google - Check!
-Personal email handled by gMail - Check! (Years ago!)
-Google Calendar synced with Outlook at work - NOT CHECK!

I downloaded the latest Google Calendar Sync this morning and ran it on my work laptop, which is Windows XP (32-bit) and Outlook 2003 (both supported). It said it sync'ed 538 events. But in the end I don't have everything on Google Calendar that I have on Outlook! For instance, the two events on my calendar today are not there! I estimate that about 1/2 of my events did not show up.

Bottom line: I cannot use the G1 for my calendar if it will cause me to miss half my meetings.

Is anyone else having this issue? If so, is there some way to fix this?

I can't get it to sync with out crashing my outlook =(

I used gMigrate yesterday for my outlook calendar it is free and worked perfectly here is the link

I've heard that the google sync has problems syncing recurring meetings. I'm guessing the ones that did not show up are meetings you have a on a recurring schedule.

I've not tried to do it for quite a while but I experienced the same thing when I tried it.

Hopefully we will see an application soon on the Android Market that will do your Outlook Email, Contacts and Calendar Sync.

I hope we do, I couldn't get mine to sync very well either. So, for now, depending on which calendar I set the appointment on, google or outlook, I just send myself a meeting invitation to the other calendar so I make sure I have it on both.

This is why I dont use google sync. I have a single weekly reoccurring meeting and it keeps messing it up.

I cannot get my google calendar to sync to the google phone at all.
Anyone have any updates on this?
