The press release said 2. February but I can't find any news articles after the launch? How is the market working for the people with German locale? Are they just able to download the German version of the program or can they choose between the different versions?
I also didn't see any increase in downloads that suggested that it has been sold a lot of phones in Germany so I guess it didn't receive much attention?
noch nicht sagen, aber sie haben vor dem 1. Januar 2009, damit ich bin mir nicht sicher.
Hi christer,
yes it has been released the 2nd of Feb.
However, the final announcement of T-Mob when it will be available happen to be only 2 weeks before... everybody that want to switch contract or provider and wants to port the number has to wait until the end of Feb... 4 weeks until the end of month contract sh**...
Since I am in this situation myself, I am waiting for my G1 too....
Regarding the market apps...expect my feedback in 4 weeks ...
@alex...
Your german sucks big time... don't pretend to be a german when you have to use google-translate and no idea what you are talking about![]()
Thanks for the info! I half expected a flooding of comments in various languages in the Android Market, but I am glad most people still stick to english there
I am really surprised that Google is offering no information to developers on how this market in multiple countries is supposed to work, but I guess they are busy making ready for paid apps which they promised "early Q1"...
Well, if anyone else in Netherlands, Czech or Austria has some information on how localized apps can be downloaded in the Android market then that information would be very appreciated!
