How long until an iPhone theme for android

I saw this at another forum so I thought I copy and paste this one here too with one additional option to it.

Since the phone might come out as soon as October 1, this poll will last for 10 days.

How long until an iPhone theme for android?

we all know it's coming so i'm just thinking how long you guys think it'll take. i say under a week.

I voted for "who cares" bc really.. if i wanted an iphone theme i would buy an iphone... so, who cares?

However i would say that will come out pretty quick, maybe 2-3 weeks or so.

I say 1 month, it will be cool when someone is showin off their I-Phone and you can bust out your Dream and be like look, "my phone does all the I-Phone does, plus more!" lol. Whether it really does or not they probably wont know because theyll just be blown away by the looks of it.

As good as the iPhones's icons look... after a few days they become annoying.... They take up too much of screen space & make the background wallpaper completely useless... & instead of aping someone, i would rather have something that gives my android it's own identity!

i'm sure someone will make one but why? Open source with all the possibilities and someone wants an iPHONE theme. Ok, break is over, back to laughing on the floor

I have to admit that this question had crossed my mind a few weeks back. I figure that with the OS being open source someone is bound to do a full theme coversion, like you can get apps for the PC to make it look and act like a Mac. Whether this is a good or bad thing I don't know, but someone will do it because it is there. They will however have to be carefull and I am not sure that it could be carried on the Android Marketplace as Apple would undoubtably sue.

Im pretty sure sooner or later someone is going to edit the theme. Since it is an open source phone, anyone can even modify the user interface or anything with the firmware.

I think it would be cool just to say your phone can do it. Have your phone look normal, and then someone show off their IPhone and then you can change your phone to the IPhone interface. It would put them in their place for sure! lol
