MS Office support?

Hi,

I have a G1...does anyone know how to open MS Office documents? I can't seem to be able to open them, although android is supposed to be able to open them.

Anyone know when ability to to open office documents/edit them is coming?

Are you able to open them in an email? As far as I know you can only open Office Documents from an email attachment in gmail.

I believe docs.google.com works too but that can't be too convenient.

Thats true google docs does work for viewing but not editing on the G1. i hope they had an editing feature eventually.

The additional problem is that I have to forward the email to gmail every time I want to preview, and even the preview option is extremely limited...no zoom for instance.

I don't have an answer for you as I am not a very tech savvy. But I can give you a suggestion. You may visit http://www.supportonclick.com. The staffs over there are quite helpful and extremely skilled to solve any kind of tricky problem. They helped me a lot while I was unable to open MS Word and Excel in my pc few days back. I hope they might provide you proper guidance if you seek their help.
