all right i haven't had any mayor problems with the phone till now, i get a text message and don't know the number and i check all my contacts and they are all gone!!!!!, wtf?

If you loaded them through T-Mobile's website you can just re-download them. If you have the option, make sure you download to your SIM Card or internal memory if you have to, not your memory card.

They should be synced to gmail shouldn't they?

i unclicked sync and clicked it and i got em back...weird

it happened to me as well. i had all my numbers saved to my sim so i just imported them and it worked. got nervous at first...
