Hey everyone I'm new to the world of android phones and I'm loving it so far. I've been reading around a bit and I see it's possible to root phones which, from my understanding, means opening the OS to customization. I see the instructions for the G1 but is this possible for the CLIQ?

Also, what are the MUST-KNOW issues or pro's and con's of rooting?
