Notifications...

Just wanted to first say that this phone is awesome!!!I am having one problem though. Non of my notifications: gtalk, alarm, text have an audible ringtone. i just get notified in the notification bar with an icon, but no sound. Anyone having the same problem or have a solution for it. I've tried every setting, i just cant find the right one.

mine are kinda intermittent.. so im with you. Sometimes sound, someitmes none...

settings - sounds & display - notification ringtone- Choose whatever... beyond that I'm not sure what to tell you.

go into the sound settings inside the messenger program/text. also make sure its selected in the main settings section

i've tried everything, all of my notifications have a ringtone applied. The only thing that actually rings is when i get a phone call.

My audible notifications seem to be intermittent as well.

the only issue i am having with my notifications is when i receive an e-mail i get them for text message and when using IM. i dont have it set for audible, but just for it to show up in the notification bar and it didnt't. i had to manually check my gmail to see i had about 4 e-mails, with no notification.

is this happening to anyone else?

Are you sure you don't have "silent" checked?

This is happening to me sparingly. Sometimes I'll be notified of a new email (specifically with GMail) but when I have an email to one of the accounts in the email app it does not notify me and I know I set it up to notify me.
