    Default Notifications


    Ok is it just me or is anyone elso having issues with the notifications? Everytime I get a text it goes off sometimes and then other times it does not go off at all....WTF? I have my own custom ringtone and this morning I turned the phone on and it worked perfectly, after a few hours it stopped working and I am a little pissed I had SMS messegaes in there from early this morning??

    if u set your custom ringtone, if u connect your phone to your computer, it reads it as a USB storage, so its accessing it and it wont play those ringtones.

    if u plan on connecting the usb cable to ur computer just to charge while at ur desk (like me) disable the usb storage and your cutom ringtone will sound.

    I figured this out the hard way since I set an alarm for a meeting, and since it was connected to pc, i never heard it, so i was 20min late to a meeting.

    can Someone confirm this? if this is true, I appluad you sir because alot of people were having trouble with this, missing messages and what not

    Um.. i wasnt getting my notifications sometimes even when not plugged in at all... I had no custom tones set either.

    same here it used to ring all notification just today it stoped doing it i am pissed too

    restarting the phone helped, but you shouldnt need to do that in the first place.

    ok guys i found out but it still pisses me off
    i had my notification on "Ta Da"
    when i select that one i dont hear it!
    but swiching back to "default"
    i get the sound... WTF
    no biggie but still!

    I am aware of that I am referring to the time when it is NOT plugged being charged (normal daily use) I don't get it
