There's no easy way to control music outside of the music app. On the iPhone you double click the center button to bring up music controls such a pause forward rewind..
etc. Am I missing something?

Of course there a music widget but that does take up a lot of space. I need a just-in-time feature (pop up display and goes away).

Android 2.0 is officially out on Verizon's Droid and HTC recently confirmed the Dragon will sport it as well. So that being said, lets make this the official discussion thread for everything Android 2.0. I've been using the Droid for a few days now and have found awesome new features as well as weird behaviors/lack thereof features and will start logging them here for discussions.


Lets keep Android 2.0 discussions separate from Droid. The Droid discussions already started here. Anything Droid related will go into that thread.

So when do the rest of us get the OTA for 2.0, that's what I want to know.
PS I checked out the Droid Friday, GREAT SCREEN! keybrd ok & fast cpu.
but that plan.... the decent plan for all connectivity is $119! that's 40+ over what I pay now... with Tmo... lot o' money every month.

Ok, if this is the office thread, I have many questions;

1) I have just come from Windows mobile with Outlook 7 for email. Now in order to sync our email, you have to go through Gmail. How do I attach my signature when sending an email from my Droid?

2) How do I keep my emails from disappearing from outlook?

3) How do I get my computer to recognize my Droid once it's plugged in via my usb?

4) How do I put files onto the sd card from my computer, I swapped a 1 meg card so as to get some photos but I can't get my computer to read the card in my reader.

This is just for starters.

I like the Droid but if I can't effectively sync with my email and outlook then I can't seem to be able to justify keeping it as my business is most important.

Any help would be appreciated.
