I believe you can only edit spreadsheet at this time.
Is it possible to edit a Google doc in the browser? I assume it is, but seem to be struggling. I can open and view me doc, but cannot seem to edit.![]()

Oh, poor show!
Is there an easy way to write a document using both G1 and a pc? I use AK Notepad on G1 at the moment, then paste what I have written into an email to continue on PC, but this is a one way thing at the moment. I cannot seem to then email back from PC to G1.
Any ideas?

What type of Document (document, presentation or spreadsheet)?
Spreadsheets are editable fully on a G1, make sure you go to docs.google.com from the browser (and login if not auto-logged in)
Document files and Presentations are NOT YET editable on the G1 (or any mobile browser)
When on the main Google docs page showing your doc list you can go to the bottom and select Desktop.. it works somewhat...
I have tried attaching a .txt doc to gmail, and also pasting text into gmail, but cannot copy from either.
At the moment I am just using a Google "Document" (i.e. a word processing document).

here is an idea:
why dont you just use gmail.
compose a new mail, start writing as much as you like in an 'email' then simply just say save.
the 'email' will now be saved in drafts on your android device and also from a pc via your gmail account.
this way it is always synced and available for you to work on.
i know it should be better than this!! not pointing any fingers -->>>GOOGLE...
