    Default Push email

    Sup all,

I have a few questions about the G1. If anyone has a G1 already and has come across the answers to these please post to inform our fellow Androidians.

    • I've seen the specs on the G1 and I'm curious to know if the G1 has a limit on how many gmail accounts it will provide "Direct Push" email for.

    • Will the device only pull from the default (initial account setup for the g1) gmail account for contact data? I have a few gmail accounts and I would like for all of them to be "pushed" to my device along with my contacts.

    • Will the contacts that are attached to the gmail account be saved to the G1 itself, or embedded into the gmail web app causing us to have to open gmail to view a contact. Hopefully thats not the case but thats why I'd like to be clear on it.

The device will be able to have 5 email addresses, but your intial email address will be the push, the rest will be fetch. The contacts will also be pushed to the device.

They would re-synch with the new contacts on the new push gmail account.........so the contacts on the phone (and on origninal gmail account) would now also be on the new gmail push account

that would be a lot of work just to get all your contacts on 1 account. You should just export your contacts to a csv file then import them to your main account.
