I usually restart my g1 once a day. Clears the ram and keeps the system speedy.
Palm (anyone still using one?) went through the same growing process. First apps would only run from the internal memory, then they were able to migrate apps to the removable memory. I'm sure that Google will get to this point eventually.
Reminds me of the early days of pc's. I had all kinds of software copied onto 5 1/4" floppy discs that I never really used on my 286. (Anyone remember Lunar Lander?)
Today I'm satisfied with selecting software that I use often rather than loading up the G1 with a lot of "cool" apps that just bog the machine down. (Sorry ShopSavvy cool app, but something I just wouldn't bother with.)
