    Default So no headphone jack...

Okay guys... if I'm gonna be listening to my tunes on the G1, I'm gonna need a pair of sweet earphones that will double for talking on the phone. SUGGESTIONS?

I am very positive it will come with a headphone adapter.

Cool Re: So no headphone jack...

Ya, but I couldn't tell if those were just for adapting to regular headphones or to headphones that I could use for phone conversations too. And I want a "GOOD" pair, not just something that'll "work" if you know what I mean.

It comes with a "wired stereo headset" as shown on page 8 of the users guide. But it uses it's own proprietary adapter. Sorry. We have a support group that meets every other Wednesday to grieve over this together.

I wonder, has anyone figured out the pin setup for this mini-usb jack? I wonder if a pair of say, Vibe Duos (good headphones with in-line mic) could be wired into this USB jack.

probably, just a matter of stripping and soldering.... and btw, a2dp is not supported out of the box for the first generation G1, so at thsi point bluetooth stereo headsets are out of the question... but exepct a firmware upgrade to fix this

I'm sure the headset included will be flimsy and will break after a some use but i'm hoping they will last until we have stereo bluetooth support.

A friend of mine has these: motorola S9

    http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/pro...alObjectId=217

and they work with his sprint phone really well. He sits at his desk testing software all day listening to internet radio over his cellphone. I'm so jealous, it isn't funny.

They seem like they're good quality though i'm going to pickup a pair once I have a use for them.
