    Default spec inconsistancies

has anyone noticed t-mobile's site says the G1 phone's camera has an auto-focus and the htc site says it has a fixed focus? does anyone know which site is correct?

also, htc's site says the G1 is 17.1 mm thick and t-mobile's says it's 16 mm thick. does anyone know which is right there?

I think it was the Gizmodo or Engadget review that said the G1 has autofocus, and they were surprised at how close the it could focus... which is great news, assuming it's true, for all the barcode scanner apps (mine included).
    I blame

Vincent, if you remember previous thread about battery stand by life - that is another inconstancy. Pretty much HTC vs all other online web-sites listing G1 specs.

To be more precise here is the comparison

    HTC says for GSM:

Talk time 406 minutes (to be exact - but of course it will depend on user)

Other say: 5 hrs (300 minutes)

Stand by: HTC says 319hrs, others say 130hrs ... aaand that's about it...

    Question Re: spec inconsistancies

I am pretty curious about how long the battery life will be when using apps as apposed to standby time..
