Google calender sync for calendar. For contacts you will have to use a roundabout way or the app you found.
Has anyone seen a sync between MS Exchange and google gmail, contact,&calendar?
This looks like a client-side sync where you need a comp with outlook 2007|2003 running.
Yeah, I'm looking for that, too. I dunno, though, that means I'd have to give yet another service access to my Google account with full reign over my calendar and contacts. Hmmm ... havta think about that ... maybe I should just import my calendar and contacts into Google and abandon Outlook/Exchange for a while? That's a scary thought because I've been using it for, like, 10 years or more. It's survived where other apps have come and gone. Hmmm ... yeah, havta think about that.
But, in the meantime, if anyone finds a service like this ...
Reachin' up to touch bottom
How did Kigoo work out for you guys?
I tried the program out myself, but it never worked after inputting my login info. The program would freeze up, and cause outlook to slow to a crawl. I figured it was my firewall blocking the app, but I set it to allow access to the net.
Anyway, I tried out google's own outlook to google calendar sync program and it worked flawlessly! Very quick and easy to use.

But for syncing outlook contacts to gmail, I'm still looking around for a program.
i created a csv file from outlook and gmail imported nicely, although the first couple of tries,it was a mess. i deleted all contacts several times and re-uploaded. i think third time it worked nicely. still quicker than importing manually. i'm using outlook express6 because i need it installed to sync with activsync. outlook 2007 might have issues for some reason.

I wish KiGoo would support outlook categories.
I thought I would remind everyone about one other important limitation when doing these big imports. You can only delete a maximum of 500 contacts at once in gmail. So, if you've got 750 contacts, and they're all dorked up and you want to start over, you would think that you could just press the "Select All" button and then "Delete Selected Contacts", but G will complain. So you then have to go down the line, deselecting individual contacts one at a time until you get to where you have 500 contacts selected and then you can delete them. So, if you are doing a big import, I would HIGHLY suggest that you start small to make sure everything is working good. Try some of your trickier contacts--ones that have the most fields filled out--to make sure everything goes where it is supposed to. Once everything is hunky-dory, then upload the whole thing. Good luck!
