I think Kaziko should be awarded with one of the first android community t-shirts (and more)! Working as much as he is, dealing with a newborn and taking care of his wife, and yet he takes the little time that he has and quenches our thirst of anything G1!

Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter and thank you for contributing your time and reviews of the G1!

    Kaz,

Can you run apps from the microSD card?
G1 is so good, they ought to make it a vitamin!

Also ... the G1 works PERFECT on just the $19.99 data plan. no need to have one of those bundled G1 data plans
Thanks for the intel. That plan should work for me then...
My question is probably out of line, but does the $19.99 come with txt msging? Is that the difference between the $19.99 and $25.00 plan?

I'm surprised noone has asked this already, but what is the batter life like? I'm hoping that it'll last a whole day without having to recharge with moderate web surfing, IMing, etc.

As I learned from another forum, the 2 plans are highly promoted but not required... So I will probably be downgrading to $19.99, except u still need $4 for 400 msg and $9.99 for 1000.

I think you always need a voice plan (the 2 year contract), the rest (msgs, data, and so on) are additional services.

Be happy that I at least posted something instead of blasting at me because I didn't have proof, it's called patience (something everybody needs to learn about).
I assume this was directed at me. We're what, 8 pages into this thread and barely talked about your review or the phone, right?

Had you waited until you had pictures and posted all that information at once, this could've been 8 pages of talking about your actual review, 8 pages of people asking "how's the ____ working?" and you answering with your honest opinion.

Instead, we spent like 4 pages figuring out if you were even telling the truth, right? I'm not saying you had to stop what you were doing to take pics. In fact, just the opposite, don't post while you're driving, that's dangerous. I'm suggesting you could've gone home, found some time to write your review, then later found some time to take some pics, and then found some time (maybe even later) to put it all together and post it.

You mention patience, and I agree. But I think that patience also applies to you. Don't you think that if you had been more patient, waited until you had the time to do some pics and get all that information put together and THEN posted your review, that would've been better? It would've only been a few more days. Considering we've all got another 17, you taking 3 days, in your spare time, to do something right the first time wouldn't have been such a big deal. Had you done that, there would've been zero flaming, and zero debate on this. I would not even be writing this post, and you wouldn't have had to defend yourself left and right.
It's all about planning things out, man. That's what I'm saying.

Yes, some people freaked out and over-reacted, but you could've done more to prevent that, and that is all I'm saying.
