T-Mobile G1 Launch Party Tonight?

Just wondered if anyone else had heard of a launch party in NYC tonight for the T-Mobile G1?

I noticed that the launch party have a dedicated youtube channel

There was a video up earlier but i think they must have been testing as it never showed much and has now been taken down?

I read on ZDNet that they received an invite earlier this week.

yeah there was some big hubbub abotu it last week and people going crazy thinking they may get their phones on Friday.

We actually have a New York meet up very soon just before the party. From there Vince will be choosing one person to go with him.
