Texting Problem

Ever since the update. When I'm typing text my phone is automatically putting periods where they don't belong a good example is in my first sentence after the word update. Its. Starting to. Become real annoying. Can anyone help?

are you accidentally double spacing? It automatically inputs a period if you hit space twice.

It does it. When I double space. Which is fine but it also. Does. It when I single space.
Look at my post and see how often it does it. Its getting real annoying and I'm sure ill be. Selling this phone pretty soon.

I don't. Understand how people. Like this phone....maybe I just got a defective. One but. This on top of the other problems I have with. It is pushing me towards the iphone.

Alright, if it isn't anything the others mentioned.. I think I might have your solution.
Go to the Locale & Text in the Settings menu and then go to Android Keyboard [the one with the drop down list] then scroll to the bottom. There's something that says Auto-Complete. See if its checked, if it is then that should be the solution to your problem [uncheck it].

I believe I fixed it. I went to locale and text settings....then I went to android keyboard and unchecked auto-capitalization.

Now does anyone know how to make the browser stop refreshing everytime I go to the home then screen then back to the browser.

That, will never fix. Well, that is, until we get an update that changes it from doing that. That's sooooo annoying though.. most of the time I don't need for the browser to refresh itself.
My thoughts on a solution would be for you to download "Steel" Its an alternate browser for the G1. Its gotten great reviews and it introduces a new perspective on how you are able to browse the internet. There's also Opera.. but I think that if you leave the G1 default browser.. that you should go to Steel.
Its all imo.

That is rediculous.. used to happen to me in an older update...
never lately. Make sure you have the latest update before you give up.
