The Launch / Conference!!!

Hey guys, I reckon there will be a couple of surprise announcements today, I'm sure they've kept something back to make the event get max press coverage. What do you reckon they'll be (if any)?

I was also thinking, how cool would it be if Asimo (from honda) started the conference off (in keeping with the android theme) by wheeling in a trolley with android phones on? it would be amazing!!!! whooo hoo!

Is it just me or did the phone shown at the IO conference have a chrome back? Then all the other versions since then seem to have a plastic back, hopefully the final version will have the sleek chrome.

I really hope the final G1 phone doesn't have the ugly chin, but I doubt that as it has the track ball on :-(

I believe the "chin" and the "track ball" are reality and we are going to have to embrace them.

I'll bet my iPhone that they launch a few new service packages. Something like international texting or international data plans. Blackberry's have intn'l email, why not the Dream?
