It's beyond me why recent trend in blogging has been of omitting the timestamp from the blog post itself, esp on such time sensitive news matters. But judging from the first comment to that blog post, it seems it's from August 16, 2008. Yea, at that time, I got really eager about the September 17th announcement, but recent events indicate that it might not happen and the actual announcement could be on September 23 .

I agree - some of these "news" are actually bit old with no offense to the author of the thread.

I have got some details from Tmobile Rep stating there will be more than one phone coming out in October. I guess we should wait and see - there is only couple days until we see google phone on shelves.

Sorry...I just learned about this phone yesterday...I spent a few hours online and found this to be a good article, forgive me for posting it...I though it might have been nice...It might also help the un-techies, like me who haven’t been "up to date" with this technology...should I simply delete this thread? Well, there are as much details as possible from leaks about the HTC Dream. So, only option to have any further details about the phone itself is to wait for official announcement on the 23rd of this month. That's just 6 days away now.

For the Applications that will be available for the phone, there is Android Marketplace, but there doesn't seem to be any website for it. I think that'll be limited to the app store resident on the phone itself.

So, in either case, just wait n watch. Although, after the September 23rd official announcement, I'm sure you'll have at least a couple of weeks before getting one of those in your hand. Therefore, plenty of time for research .
