or just use google reader to read the stories and then only load specific stories if you want?

I found this at another forum. If anyone have anymore links, please post it here. Thanks!

Try finding iphone versions of websites. i'll use Engadget as an example. if you just go to www.engadget.com it will load the full page. take a while and will not display it perfectly.
but go to the iphone version at i.engadget.com it's made to work on the iphone, and there for any other mobile device such as the G1. loads much quicker since it's made for a mobile device.
Lots of big major websites have iphone versions so it's worth it to take a look and use those if you want to save some time loading pages when you don't need the full version.
For me i'm using moviefone, engadget, joystiq, CBS news, facebook. they all work great.
Sometimes you'll find one that requires safari but most of them will work in any html browser.
i know a lot of people prefer the normal webpage, but for those of us who are still on EDGE this makes sites load a lot faster and it's still just as good.
