    Default TMO sim required for unlock?


    Hi,
    I am in Australia and am looking at importing a TMO G1. I will need to get it unlocked before i can use it obviously but the site http://www.unlock-tmobileg1.com/procedures/activate.php says you need to insert your TMO Sim to find out the IME number.

    Is there any way to find out the IME without a TMO SIM?

    If I'm not mistaken, the IEMI# is also on the box the phone comes in.
    Device : HTC HD2 Leo - 1024 (Dual Boot)
    ROM : ChuckyDroid Custom WM 6.5.5 w/Sense
    Android : Mattc 2.2 Froyo w/Sense 1.5
    SDCard : Kingston 16GB Class 2 Micro SDHC
    HSPL3: Thanks 2 (Bepe & Cotulla)
    Radio : 2.12.50.02_2

    hehe- i thought so too- but the unlock G1 website says you need to insert the TMO SIM to get the ime....
