Trackball Keyboard... Possible???

I've owned the MDA Wing and im currently using a BB and can see both sides of argument of having a virtual keyboard. Now this maybe a simple question, but what are the possiblities of there being a program in which uses a virtual keyboard by touch AND scroll via trackball????

like a virtual trackball? if thats what you mean, its certainly possible but kinda pointless in that you dont have to flip open the keyboard to get to the built-in one.

well of course... but for simple responses that "have" to be done while lets say.... driving

if someone wants to spend the time doing it then by all means, if you want it download it, if not then dont. all it would require is tacking apart the drivers for the trackball and adding their functions onto a graphical ball. even then tho you shuold be able to use the hardware trackball.
