on myspace, i like to put songs up on my page using playlist.com, do you think we will be able to access and preview songs on this site with no problem, or is it not compatible with the browser? i saw the video of downloading mp3s of a radio show, so i dont see why not
I would think it depends on the player on the website used to preview. Currently (at least from what I've heard) the browser doesn't support flash. If the preview player is done with flash then I doubt it would work. If its a straight up mp3 download though, it should be fine.
the site searches for mp3s and gives you a link directly to the mp3 which you can link to your myspace page so that it will play it whenever the page comes up
If it is any normal audio file it should be able to play it straight out after downloading if the direct link is avaliable. I went over to myspace and the myspacemusic player looks like it is flash-based which will not work until Android gets flash support or until someone makes a myspace app that supports it.
If you are able to find direct links (ie. you can right click it and download and the link isn't inside the flashplayer) the G1 can definitely play it, but it doesn't look like that is the case when I went there, the links are inside the flashplayer.
damn, you're right. I hopefully can use playlist.com to get some files for ringtones though, of course for the songs i own the cd for only. just download the mp3 because i dont have a ripper. BTW, do we know if the G1 will be a Click and drag to the removable hard drive interface, or will it have something like itunes to transfer the files
