According to a report by EEtimes, Google is adding a security suite called NanoPhone by Mocana Corp to the Android platform. "NanoPhone adds firewall, virtual private network and strong encryption features to Android handsets without draining the battery, according to Mocana."

I for one would be happy to have VPN on Android.
