Waiting list

Well I went to Tmobile two weeks ago and got on the G1 waiting list, and today I get a call saying. "tmobile has told us to not do waiting lists anymore, instead just first come first serve." Did anyone else get that call today? This sucks cause I work that day and I don't have time to wait in line, I just wanted to go in and pick up the G1 on my lunch this sucks!

Yeah that does suck!!!!! If they told everyone they were doing a list they should stick to it. Somebody probably complained.

I'm going to call the local Corporate T-Mobile store to see if there list is still intact.

My friend is on there waiting list.

I hope this isn't true. I'm on the "Waiting List" as well but I've heard nothing from t-mobile.

Something similar happened to me. I was on the waiting list but went into the store yesterday to check out the managers demo unit.

They said that they are supposed to cancel all the waitlists, but that I should check back in 2 days before launch to see if they think they have enough supply and maybe they'll still honor it? *shrug*

that is true i went to a store today so i can play with the demo they have and they told me that they have a list of 50 people but they can not hold them they are sending emails to this people saying how many the got and who ever get there first will get one.

OK called and they do indeed have a waiting list, but you have to be present at before 8am at this particular store to receive your ticket to activate your phone sometime during the day.

They'll had out tickets in order of your name on the list.

Oh and out of that call I'm going in tomorrow to use the G1 tomorrow for 1 hour
