When the g1 came out alot of people bought it just for the new os. Now that the android is becoming so popular its gonna be on a variety of headsets. I was always a big samsung fan and that will be probably my next android phone, but g1 is my first htc and kinda like it. I like the designs of some of the other htc products. But anyway what would make your ideal android phone heres my list.
3-5mp camera with zoom and flash
atleast 1gb internal mem
front and back camera
slim and sleek (kinda like g3 pic)
faster cpu
pretty much what the g1 lacks
rail gun, atomic cpu, AI point-n-click feature that lets me point my phone and it will tell me what it is (except in the case of a speeding car that is heading toward me) and that thing that makes that sound thats like . . .
Hell, i don't know. I'm still unable to fully use all of this phones features as it is. Put me down for larger screen my eyes are bad.
Easy:
1) wifi that works...
2) Bluetooth that allows data transfer between devices...
3) Download and sending of ANY file attachments ON THE PHONE...
4) Ability to ABSOLUTELY shut down data roaming (including the insane data roaming of MyFaves) without having to zap the APNs (which still may not work).
You know, stuff that Agamemnon had on his cellphone when he attacked Troy, in the Bronze Age? If Cupcake doesn't handle this basic stuff, despite the fact that I love the physical layout of the phone, I will have to get a phone that's not just something Big Bird would get excited over.
* better camera: 5+MP
* more internal storage
* more UI look/feel customizations
* that snazzy HTC vkeyboard that i would have now if *sigh* ADB would cooperate
* apps, apps, apps
* sturdy, stylish, but not-too-flashy hardware
* EDIT: native google docs support
* EDIT: a good music player

First and foremost I'd like a much better looking phone.
* Better camera
* more internal storage
* Better looking UI
* Better camera
* Larger screen
* Better battery life
* Louder speaker
Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat.
Most of what I see requested comes from the OS (better battery life, UI, Bluetooth transfers, etc). Hopefully future Android releases will come with the features we require, or non-google Developers will invest their time into creating those features for us with apps or new builds.
As for the phone hardware, here's my dream list:
-Hardware keyboard (because sometimes the VK just can't cut it)
-4-5 MP camera with flash
-Bigger screen
-D-Pad or Trackball (prefer trackball)
-Good sized buttons (Yes, I'm looking at you, i7500's Home button)
-3.5mm headphone jack
-Standardized (MiniUSB or microUSB) port for charging/mounting
-Large internal memory, in excess of 1 GB
-Better RAM/Processor
i would like my next android device to be more of a media device so i would like some strong multi media features.
so take the g1 and give it a sexy makeover first.
then add:
higher res screen for movie watching
3.5mm headphone jack
bigger screen (i dont really care if it fits in my pocket...)
ability to play an assortment of movies and music file formats
AT LEAST 8gb of internal memory AND the ability to use micro sd cards...
or take the i7500 and add a physical keyboard![]()

I Would Just App Easier Way To Make/Change Themes, Better YouTube, And FLASH.
Android Vs. iPhone? We're Far From Equal, Cause Your Claims Of Being Better Are Very See Through And We Just "Rock" Like Guitars & Speakers.
