Looks like we all need to get adapters. It's also a shame they're not bundled within.

maybe at the top? (like iPhone)
did you not go to the link? needs an adapter
I was going to say that sucks royally but at least there's an adapter.
This really sucks though. I had to use an adapter with my other HTC phones, so I really expected it, but it is so much more convenient to not have to carry around an adapter. Especially because there is no A2DP.
I have to admit, I'm pretty freakin stoked about this phone and can't wait for it to get here. But sheesh, how many stinkin USB cables do I need in my house? Why can't everyone just put a regular USB connector on their device and call it a day? You know this had to cost them more money to do it this way. I wonder what their thought process and business case was? Sell more adapters??? This is just D-U-M-B dumb.

I agree with the poster above me! Why use an propriety usb to make people have unnecessary usb cables when there is a USB standard. Pretty lame to use something that is only used on HTC phones only.
yea, i agree... It's extra dumb once you find out that those adapters cost a couple bucks. It really should've:
A. been built in.
B. if not built in, at least bundled with the phone. If their intentions really are to compete with iphone, on some level.

Yeah, this is directly out of the Apple playbook. All of the ipods are USB but use a special cable. How sad and senseless.

wait so is it like smaller than a normal headphone jack? If so would my adapter from my nokia 5300 work on it?
