Android,Iphone or pre

this is just a simple question for those who own an android, iphone or a palm pre. with all the review out there is hard to tell whats real or not.

so what you guys think about the pre? would it be a competition to the iphone and the android ? or does android still a killer for both the iphone and pre.

i hate to admit that the iphone is much smoother than the g1 BUUUUT android IMO is gonna take over! i mean iphones are pretty much dead after a new one is released unlike android where u can have the latest phone without really having it (if that makes sense) i mean most of us had cupcake waaaay before cupcake was released in uk or anywhere

pre is a nice phone but ....
i think there are too many issues with it to be competitive with the iphone or android . example-issue with gsm , only apps or games from its market(not from other places) are available , worse issue with the battery than the g1 , etc ....

im going to be honest here. the pre looks nice. the iphone looks nice. but what i think both of their downfall is that their operating system is locked down to one device/company. i believe that android is the future because it will be run on more then one device.(i think i read somewhere we are expecting 20 android devices by the end of 2009??? thats ridiculous!!!)

how many devices are expected to run web os? how about the iphone's operating system?(whatever the hell its called?) since android will be on so many devices its gives everyone a chance to try it out. and the great thing about android is when you try it out you get some things your not use to. so when you try to switch to another phone its going to feel like its "missing something." so give android a year tops. thats all i think it needs. one because android is the futre and two because i think google is going to take over the internet lol.

so when android does become the great success i know it will be i want to be well rooted in the community just so i can say, "i told you so."

Since I've experienced Android, I don't wanna use any other OS...I know they're closed/locked to their respective phones and ya know what? That's boring, BORING!!

While I've been on the G1, I feel like I've been on MANY phones as I've updated my rom so many times. I never get bored, period, of this phone.

I've had experience with all the 3 OS's and this is the first time I feel in control of my phone (I never wanted to explore and learn about any of the other phones I had)

Haha, well coming to an Android forum is going to get you a very bias response... but... haha. Android will be the big thing. Give it a few years and it will take over the iPhone. Android is already being put on lots of different phones by many different carriers and manufacturers. Its even going to be on netbooks in the near future. I would not at all be suprised if a desktop version of Android was created. I think you should jump on the android bandwagon early to be very familiar with it by the time it destroys the iphone.
