Default Android Phone Was Stolen-Help With Advice!

While on my way to work 6 guys stole my g1. The way it happened was 3 grabbed me from the back while 1 searched for my belongings and the other 2 punched me a few times. i was listening to music so i never noticed or heard anyone following me, plus this all happen in the afternoon, so i didnt really think stuff like this would happen to me. The good News ( I hope ) is that they all go to my same school and i can easily identify them. I will be later on the afternoon be going to my local police and filing a report and seeing what can be done. But i would love to get some feedback on what steps i should take and if i should be expecting my phone back anytime soon. Also i was thinking of getting back at them with some friends but then again is this something i should do and what could be the consequences?

Phone TMobile, report your phone as being stolen. File a police report for the assault and theft. Don't be a vigilante.

Deff call TMobile and police and file a report ASAP. If you try to get back at them yourself, you'll just make things worse.

    Sorry to hear that,

But yes, call T-Mob right away and go file the report...

You will need the report when dealing with the insurance issue.

Yes i have already reported my phone as stolen to T-mobile. However the police report is yet to be done!

and i guess your right about not being a vigilante. Will let police do their job and expect good results.

I say put together an awesome looking costume and strike some fear into those evil doers. People aren't going to punish themselves you know.
