There is an article in PC World this month and they tested browsers. Chrome 2.0 won hands down.
zdnet's writers agreed that it lacks features, but it rocks for speed and stability. My web browser isn't supposed to be a full-fledged computer operating system, so I'll take speed and stability any day.

I still use firefox at work for some necessary Add-ons like Firebug, BugMeNot, and Adblock Plus, but at home I am almost exclusively using Chrome. I agree it's very fast and stable. I also love the UI.
Firefox's functionality with Chrome's stability and speed would be a winner.
Who knows, it might end up going down that route where the two converge...
