I've had Cingular/ATT for 8+ years now. I'm not necessarily happy with my service, and I LOVE the G1. Data through anyone else is much cheaper than through ATT. I'm not liking the iPhone.
So, is T-Mobile worth the switch?
How did you get out of your contract with another carrier?
To get out of your contract with att you would probaly have to pay a $200 cancellation fee and thats it, it depends how long you been with most companys , some let you go for free i think.....
yes another iphone refugee........ come to the g1 sde.....

I've been with t-mobile for 6 years and love the crap out of them, they have fair prices, good customer service, and good coverage. Now they have 3g AND a seriously bad ass phone, i couldn't be happier definitely worth switching especially from AT&T they suck and over charge for everything. oh and f the iphone. . . just had to put that in there
yes my friend come to the darkside, while your here enjoy a cup of tea and some biscuits
If you are unsatisfied with ATT enough to leave, then yes T-Mobile is a great place to go. But don't come for the phone. It will live it's life and move into obscurity within a few years and you'll have to pray for an acceptable replacement.

I've had T-mobile since they were Voicestream, I'm one happy camper. They take care of me well, don't overcharge on useless crap. My father had AT&T when it was still the real at&t (please stand-up) but than cingular bought them out and my dad started getting outrageous bills out of the blue.
i think imo its worth switching over not b/c of the phone but the customer service and reasonable rate plans.
voicstream survivor here and very happy with t mo, 7 yrs and counting.
6 years +, and Im still loyal!!! =)
I'm with Tmo since they were still Voicestream. I live in NYC and the coverage has never been a problem.
Depends on where you live, it's worth it to switch if you're in a well covered area with 3G ready.
