Give the T-Mobile retailer a call, That's near you and see what they tell you. I dont see why it should be a big deal.

I currently own the bronze 1 and it is nice! I never liked the black 1 to begin with.

i was told over the phone that any phone ordered online has to be sent back to where it was shipped to, and could not be returned/exchanged at a retail location
