I'm in So Calif (Orange County)...
I went from 512Kbps to 2300Kbps tonight...
Anyone else seeing similar results
(using mobilespeedtest.com - but other apps show similar)
I would take that with a grain of salt. I am in San Diego and I USB tethered my phone to my laptop and it was still same old 3G.
I live in orange county too and I just ran an xtremelabs test. Its about 200 kb/s faster than my previous record. I'm consistently getting about about 780 kb/s. What city are you in? Perhaps it hasn't gotten to mine yet. I think my speed increase is just due to its sort of late and there's little traffic.

I've gotten a co-worker in Utah who reported he is seeing 6Mbps+ right now; he was at about 900Kbps previously in his area...
Both my phone and my wife's are getting 2Mbps+ and lows of 900Kbps - previously it was averages of 500Kbps with peaks of 700Kbps and lows of 300Kbps..
For sure HSDPA upgrades have occurred on SOME parts of TMO's network. as these new speeds are out of the original UMTS spec.
We are gonna need some screenshot eveidence of this, my 3G is the same 900kbits-1100kbits. But i did suspect that they were gonna raise the speed when we had the outage.
