I still don't have mine and it's driving me crazy. I should be asleep right now tomorrow's going to be hell for me. I see people in Seattle getting theirs, has anyone close to Fort Lewis (Tacoma, Olympia) gotten their info?

I'm going to get in trouble if all of you are successful in doing this because it may cause a problem for UPS, but I like sharing

You may be able to get your G1 sooner if you call UPS with your actual tracking number (not your mobile # with dashes), request to stop shipment to the address and to have it held at your local distribution center so you can pick it up before 10/22 or 11/10, whichever you may have pre-ordered for, with your valid state ID/Passport. I'm not accepting any liability for those who aren't able to get UPS to do this. But yea, you should be able to enjoy

I dont think you can asking them to do a hold on it for local pickup... i think after the first attempt for delivery. then you can make a hold for pickup... thats what i went across before. but i will give it a try.

T-Mobile/UPS policy is if you want to change the address there must be a failed delivery attempt, yes. To pick it up at the distribution center with valid ID is technically supposed to happen without a failed delivery attempt.

I'm about to go to sleep now. I've been looking at this thread and checking UPS since 9am and it's 2am now. They can't do this to me. I might have to quit coming here until I actually get the phone.
