Yeah, I'm getting more and more used to it every day. I miss chatting with everyone in the room though, I hope Hello AIM gets updated with chat support. I'm with you on rooting after cupcake, right now like you said themes would be the only real reason for me to do it. Are you working on any themes?
Coming from sidekicks, the flaws are a little annoying to get used to but just the fact you can do so much more with the G1 is why I kept it, I've gotten adjusted to it pretty nicely by now. I'll probably root it but after the cupcake stuff and mostly only to customize the theme on it to my liking...the usual. I hope there is better/easier way for themes to be loaded, I can go insane customizing this thing.
Hell yeah, I love it! Haven't rooted yet but I'll get around to it sooner or later. There's a few annoying flaws, but overall it's a great device.
