Dear GasBot - GREAT APP! At least until a couple of weeks ago. Over the last 2-3 weeks the stations returned have dropped from 15+ within 10 miles to 2. Is this possibly a software problem, problem with the pull from the database, or has the population of the data dropped that severely? I'm in Roanoke VA, zip code 24015.
Hi There: did you read this.. http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f...process-11416/ and how do you plan to handle it(piracy in general) Thanks
Gassy, can you point me to the link or destructions for adb with linux? I'm confused if I even need it with linux or if it's in the SDK? Thanks.
Hey Gassy. Long time no talk! How's it going?
Nope, I have to pay much much more than that just for the data on a yearly basis. The price of the app is $7/yr. Considering the average savings is 20 cents per gallon and the average tank size is 15 gallons, that's $3 saved on every fill up. If you fill up once a week that's $156 saved every year. Which means that it's the only investment you'll make giving you a 2000% return!
Great app. I hope the price is cheap like 50 cents or $1. Doesn't seem much but it adds up!
Thanks for the great app.
GasBot, keep up the good work. From one developer to another, you have every right to charge for your apps and I hope your hard effort pays off. One word of advice: It's tempting to write several so-so applications (since there's such a void in Android apps), however, I suggest you stick with developing just a few applications (if not just one). Your Gas app is a "killer app", and if you continue to develop and make it better over time you'll have a long-time winner. Getting spread too thin developing and maintaining several apps can be problematic (I know from experience). Just my two cents, for what its worth.
Everyone saying "If I wanted to pay for apps I would've bought an iPhone" and then turning around saying "Why do all of these apps suck?"
what is frustrating you about the market? please tell all
